To all our family and friends:
The past seven months has been a rollercoaster of emotion. We found out at the end of July that Britt was pregnant with our third child. On the 6th of November we had our first ultra sound which revealed that our third child would also be our first son. We were very excited and looking forward to having our little boy. On that same ultra sound the doctor had a couple of concerns. The doctor referred us to a specialist which we saw for the first time on November 11th. The specialist said that our little boy had several problems that appeared to be the affects of a disorder called Trisomy 18 “Edwards Syndrome”. The specialist took an amnio to make sure that was problem. At the time we didn’t know what to expect. We only knew that we wanted our little boy to be with us. We scheduled another visit with the doctors to go over the test results and tried to prepare ourselves. On the 13th of November the doctors concluded that our son Cache Norman Spieth did in fact have Edwards, and that the next couple of months would be difficult. The doctors were not lying, we had several more visits and on the 16th of December we found out that Cache was starting to show signs of decreasing growth and that he would probably not make it to full term. Through a lot of prayer and council from the Doctors we decided to early birth on the 29th of December. The only thing we could do was hope and leave the rest to our Father in Heaven. On the 29th the Doctors could not find a heart beat and after a short labor Cache was delivered as a stillborn on the 30th at 11:35 am. Cache was 1 lb 3.6 oz and 12 inches long. We spent the next several hours holding our son and saying good bye. We are thankful to have been able to hold him and see his perfect little feet. We know that things won’t be easy but we are grateful for the knowledge that we will be able to see him again. The Lord never gives anyone more than they can handle and we know that we will make it through.
We will be holding a short grave side on Friday the 2nd of January 2009 in the Alamo, Nevada Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
We would like to thank you all for your love and support and may the Lord bless your lives.

FINALLY!!
Well, things have finally settled in a little for us and now I have the means, time, and motivation to get going on the blog again. For an update, we are finally moved to Las Vegas!!!! in our own place and getting settled. Mat is ready for the semester to be over, he is finishing his Engineering degree at UNLV
-- once that's done we're outa here!! Also, for anyone who doesn't know we are expecting our third child, due March 25th -- we will get to find out wh
at we're having here anytime so we let you all know. Aside from all of this, we are gearing up for Halloween this weekend. We carved pumpkins with the girls just a couple of days ago. Maty loves to play in the pumpkin guts, Dalia likes to scrape and carve but would rather not touch the guts. Maty could care less what her pumpkin looks like, but she likes to see it in the dark. Dalia, being true to form, wanted a girl princess pumpkin -- although up at Grandpa and Grandma Spieth's house she wanted arms and legs, so Grandma got creative and used zuchinni! Also Dalia and I went on a Mother-daughter outing just us -- her first time to a movie theatre to watch a movie -- we went to see High School Musical 3, which Dalia loves musicals, all the dancing and singing. There weren't tons of people there which was nice since Dalia wanted to dance. She loved getting her ticket, giving her ticket at the booth, and getting her very own popcorn. She had a little trouble with the seats since she isn't really big enough to keep them down, and she got a little bored sometimes and tired, but overall she loved it -- especially ice cream after!!
Well, I hope to keep you updated more often!! After Halloween we'll have pictures of the girls in costume trick or treating!! Bye for now.

Sunday Dessert
We had dessert tonight, cookies! Maty had some "Cakesters" and like everything else she eats she tried to eat it whole -- shovin
g it in her mouth. She is really funny too, because she almost eats/licks her hands and face completely clean, trying to get every last morsel. Well with all of that mess baths were a must!! Bath time is always fun
