Sunday Dessert

We had dessert tonight, cookies! Maty had some "Cakesters" and like everything else she eats she tried to eat it whole -- shoving it in her mouth. She is really funny too, because she almost eats/licks her hands and face completely clean, trying to get every last morsel. Well with all of that mess baths were a must!! Bath time is always fun

at our house, especially with two in the tub who love the water. Of course, trying to take pictures with those two and all the water splashing everywhere is quit interesting. You can see that Dalia is the ham of the two. I got one picture of Maty where she look so much like my sister Joni when she
was little.

The Banana Mango!

Yesterday, Mat stopped at the Mexican fruit stand in Elko to pick up a few things for me. He came home with a lot more than what I had asked for, including to little banana mangoes for the girls as a treat. After dinner he peeled one for them to try. Mataya really like it, but she liked playing with it more. It was really slippery and hard to pick up -- it was hilarious watching her and of course she thought so too and would giggle and laugh at herself. Dalia, because they're a little more sweet but TART -- wasn't as much of a fan, and just puckered her lips trying to get it down! It made last evening quit entertaining.

Welcome!

Well, I had wanted to start a blog for our family, but just never got around to it, plus I was little relunctant. Then after visiting with Marc and Kim, we got their blog address and when I had a chance I went on and took a look, and it convinced me -- so I started ours the same day. I hope you all enjoy it and that it will help our friends and family be able to keep in touch with us.

Da Boyz

Well this last weekend was great, we got to see Marc and Kim with their little girl Alivia, and soon to be mom and Dad -- Logan and Ashley. It had been awhile since we had all been together so it was really fun. It is neat to see these childhood friends all grown up and fathers themselves. We also discovered a new board game we really like thanks to Marc and Kim, who warned us that we would get addicted --- it is called Ticket to Ride -- and tons of fun!! Hopefully we can all get together again sooner rather than later.
